Security forces have killed three terrorists belonging to Fitna al Hindustan, an Indian proxy group, during a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district of Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said that on January 25, 2026, security forces launched the operation following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al Hindustan terrorists in the area.
During the operation, security personnel effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout, leading to an intense exchange of fire. As a result, three Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralised, including local area terrorist commander Farooq alias Soro, along with Adeel and Waseem.
ISPR stated that a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the killed terrorists, who were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Following the operation, sanitisation activities are underway to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain in the area.
The statement added that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, to eliminate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
Earlier Operation in Kalat
Earlier this month, the Pakistan Army also conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Kalat district, killing four Fitna al Hindustan terrorists, ISPR said.
According to the military, on January 12, 2026, security forces acted on intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group in Kalat. During the ensuing firefight, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralised.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from those terrorists, who were involved in various acts of terrorism in the area.
