Uraan Pakistan Programme to Boost Economy: Ahsan Iqbal

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government is actively implementing the Uraan Pakistan Programme to further strengthen the country’s economy and prepare the youth for future challenges.

Talking to journalists in Narowal, Ahsan Iqbal said that the programme focuses on educating and training young people in line with the requirements of the 21st century, equipping them with modern skills to compete in the global market.

He stated that investment in human development and youth empowerment is a key pillar of the government’s economic strategy under the Uraan Pakistan initiative.

Highlighting foreign policy improvements, the planning minister said that Pakistan’s relations with friendly countries were adversely affected during the previous PTI government, whereas Pakistan now enjoys strong and positive diplomatic relations at the global level.

Ahsan Iqbal also termed Pakistan’s inclusion in the Gaza Peace Board a significant diplomatic achievement, reflecting the country’s growing role in regional and international peace efforts.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to economic stability, sustainable development, and strengthening Pakistan’s global standing through comprehensive reforms and strategic initiatives.
