killed in Balochistan as monsoon rains wreak havoc

Seven people lost their lives and seven others were injured in various incidents during the recent monsoon rains in Balochistan, according to a report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

PDMA reported that heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning caused significant damage in several areas.

In Washuk district, five houses were completely destroyed due to flooding. Damage was also reported to houses, agricultural lands, and solar panels in Washuk, Loralai, and Surab.

Rescue operations are ongoing in the affected districts, PDMA said.
